NYC Dec Residency Going Special-Guest Strong

December 17, 2016

Friends & Musical Relations...

This post is sadly a few days delayed, but the reverberating fact of the matter is ---> I STILL have a joy&love hangover from what was a remarkable second concert of my December artist residency at Caffè Vivaldi this past Tuesday eve. Huge & hearty thanks to the many fine souls who came out and paid notably deep attention to the music. You filled the room and the night with meaning & verve, and I'm all kinds of grateful and inspired. Looking forward to making more connections over the next two holiday-seasoned weeks! Last but opposite of least---boundless thanks to my special guest, John Deley, for elevating my expression, coloring my tunes with WOW and basically knocking all our socks off with his riveting musical gifts. As noted here, I did the proper thing and gave John the lone-keyboard reins for a tune. If you were there, you know what fun it was to ride and sing a jazzpop power croon into the night with his soulful, imaginative paws leading the way. ((sigh...)) What an unforgettable honor and blast the whole shebang was. Cheers, one & all who turned up to get so deeply down!

Comrades, the musicalfun continues next week, and I contend it will rival that of the Slinky. Please plan ahead to join me this TUESDAY 12/20, when my featured guestS will be guitarist Al Street & bassist Danton Boller. With their talents in the mix, I'd say you can expect to be at once blown away and more firmly rooted in your belief in the healing and connective and booty-moving power of song.

More news to come but again, THANK YOU to all of you fine and noble human beings who are graciously lending your ears & hearts and making these Tuesday eves beautiful NYC affairs to remember.
